Position Summary:
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk for our client in Cape Giraedeau, MO. This role is responsible for processing a high volume of invoices and payments accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and integrity. Must have advanced skills in excel and 10 key numerical entry skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of vendor invoices and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner.
Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper documentation and approvals.
Resolve discrepancies and communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely payment.
Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Monitor aging reports and assist in managing payment schedules.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Work Environment:
This is a 100% onsite role, Monday through Friday.
Office-based position with standard working hours.
